New Tourism Program in Ceará
Good news for Ceará as the Ministry of Tourism, Sebrae and Embratur are launching a new program to benefit the tourism sector. Ceará already has a fairly developed sector which will improve even more as seven municipalities will benefit from the program. The aim is to carry on increasing job opportunities as well as improving the quality and the competitive aspects within the tourism sector. On the seminar, that was held on Friday 7th of June, approximately 400 managers, technicians and tourism sector entrepreneurs attended.
Tourism numbers
The newest tourism numbers in Ceará are rising. The data from the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) shows that Ceará received 44,900 European tourists in the first four months of this year. This figure shows an increase of 65.8% compared to the same period last year. “It is an excellent time of the state in tourism” as the Secretary of Tourism of Ceará, Arialdo Pine stated on the seminar. He also put emphasis on the fact that Ceará is growing faster than the average for Brazil. The Tourism program will contribute to this good phase, bringing a package of investment shares, new business incentives, access to credit, marketing, innovation and improvement of services facing the industry. One of the aims is to put strategic ingredients together in order to transform cities in major tourist destinations and routes in memorable experiences for travelers.
Main areas that will benefit from the Program
The director of the Sebrae-CE, Joaquim Cartaxo, brought it up on the seminar that the program will benefit the municipalities of the Route of Emotions (Trairi, Jijoca Jericoacara, Camocim Cross Barroquinha and Chaval).
This is the perfect chance for investors to take advantage of the current situation in the area for opportunities such as land plot investment, Turnkey villa investment and/or loft apartment investment in the multi-award-winning resort, The Coral Beach Resort. The Coral is located in Praia de Guajiru, in the state of Ceará, part of the idyllic beaches in Trairi (one of the municipalities that will benefit from the tourism program) on the Atlantic coast and about near the state capital, Fortaleza.
